Ultrasonic Welding

This cutting-edge industrial process utilizes ultrasonic vibrations to precisely join plastic workpieces, creating robust, seamless bonds. Unlike conventional methods that rely on bolts, nails, or adhesives, ultrasonic welding streamlines the process for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness. While our services are dedicated to providing finished production parts, we’ve formed collaborative relationships with external vendors to provide design guidance and support.

Soldering

Utilized to create both mechanical and electrical bonds, soldering is a fundamental process for joining metal parts. This technique involves melting a low melting point metal alloy (solder) and applying it to metal components, resulting in a connection that solidifies as the solder cools. Central Coating proudly maintains a team of (12) EPTAC Hand Soldering certified technicians who uphold the highest standards including IPC-A-160, J-STD-001, and IPC-7711. Whether it’s a limited run or a special requirement, we can cater to your assembly needs.

Heat Stake Inserting

Offered by CCT for over a decade, this procedure involves installing a threaded metal insert into plastic parts. Heat from a thermal tip travels through the insert, melting the plastic and embedding the insert as the tip advances. The molten plastic fills the insert’s features, solidifying as the heat ends, securely encapsulating the insert within the plastic component. We seamlessly integrate inserting before painting and other post processes, optimizing time and resources. With the aid of our Sonitek inserting equipment, we are well-equipped to manage highly intricate parts.
